The Salado JV soccer team ended their district season on a high note with a big 8–0 win over Giddings! The team played great together and had goals from several players. Esther scored twice, with assists from Natalie and Georgia, while Georgia also scored two goals, one assisted by Caley. Evie, Annabelle, Caley, and Aubri each added a goal as well. The clean sheet was held by Amirah and Hannah Amani in goal. It was a strong team effort all around, and a great way for Salado to finish their final district game as champions!
The Varsity Salado Lady Eagle soccer team wrapped up their district season with a dominant 8–0 win over Giddings. The scoring was spread across the team, starting with a goal from Izzy, while Lucy scored twice with assists from Cassidy and Kenadi. Catalina added a goal off an assist from Avery, and Avery followed with a goal set up by Mya. Julia scored with help from Mady, while Cassidy found the net off a pass from Julia. Kenadi also got on the scoreboard with an assist from Catalina. Reese Smith and Channing Finch didn't allow anything to get through them in goal. It was an all-around strong performance and a great way for Salado to finish the season on top as district champions! Our Bi-District Playoff Game will be Thursday night at 7:00pm against China Spring @ China Spring!
