Your Salado Eagles kicked off the 2025 season in dominant fashion with a 42–14 victory over Giddings in our home opener. The offense was sharp and balanced, with contributions across the board leading to every one of our points. Defensively, our players rose to the occasion, especially in the second half, where they set the tone and closed the door.
Friday night was also a special moment for our program as we unveiled our brand-new uniforms. The excitement on our players’ faces when they saw the new look for the first time was unforgettable. Since then, we’ve received messages from many former Eagles, all sharing how sharp the team looked and how proud they are of the transformation of the program. The players in our program did a great job fundraising for things like this, and providing our athletes with the very best is something we take great pride in. It was so rewarding to see how much it meant to them.
