The Salado Lady Eagles opened district play with a pair of strong wins against Cameron, as both the JV and varsity teams earned shutout victories.

JV rolled to an 8–0 win by mercy rule. Aubri scored twice, including a goal assisted by Evie. Raeley scored with an assist from Madison, while Evie added another goal. Val found the net with an assist from Madison, and Avery, Caley, and Annabelle also scored in the win.

Varsity followed with a 6–0 victory. Emily scored with an assist from Cora, followed by goals from Cassidy and Kinsey. Catalina finished a corner kick from Emily, Mya scored with an assist from Kenley, and Reese added the final goal.

Both Lady Eagles teams made a confident start to district play against Cameron.
