The Salado JV Lady Eagles hosted the Eagle Classic before the frigid temperatures set in last Thursday and Friday. Thursday, the JV Salado Lady Eagles defeated Waco High 6-0 with goals from Haven, Raeley, Esther (x2), Evie, and Aubri. Their second match of the day brought about their second win of the day with a score of 3-0 over Lake Belton. Goals in that game were scored by Madison, Caley, and Madison from Caley. On Friday, the girls closed out the Eagle Classic in style, defeating Fredericksburg 4–1 in the championship game to claim first place in the Salado Eagle Classic Tournament.

Annabelle led the scoring with two goals, while Esther added a goal off an assist from Evie. Caley rounded out the scoring to secure the victory for Salado. With strong teamwork and consistent pressure throughout the match, the Lady Eagles finished the tournament on top as champions. ?
