On Tuesday night the Salado Lady Eagles Varsity dominated over Smithville 8-0 in an explosive offensive outing. Cassidy got things started off a pass from Emily, and Julia added another to build momentum. Izzy capitalized on an assist from Lucy, while Emily converted a penalty kick to extend the lead. Cora finished a setup from Julia, Kenley scored off another assist by Lucy, Mya found the net from Avery’s pass, and Brinlee capped the night with a goal assisted by Catalina. The well-balanced attack and solid defensive effort led by goalkeepers Channing Finch and Reese Smith completed an impressive night for Salado soccer. The FC Drumline kept the crowd hype throughout the evening!
