The Lady Eagles faced off against the Lampasas Badgers on a Tuesday night road game where Salado looked to remain unbeaten in district play.
Salado was firing on all cylinders as they handed Lampasas a loss in straight sets (25-6, 25-4, 25-15). Thanks in part to a 2.44 team SR rating, the Lady Eagles collected 19 kills in the first set. Haley Brown would lead the team in kills with 13 and no errors on 19 attempts. Senior middle Macy Morris would also have a big night hitting .800 and collecting 9 kills on 11 swings in two sets. Setter Charli Niu tallied 39 assists. Brown would also have a solid night in serve receive, scoring a 2.5 to lead the Eagles along with senior libero Shelby Hollywood passing a 2.25. The Lady Eagles improve their record to 28-6 overall and 5-0 in district.
Both JV Red and JV White would win in two sets. JV White leads the district at 5-0 and JV Red sits in second behind Burnet at 4-1.
Salado continues its road trip on Friday in Taylor with varsity playing first at 5:00pm due to Taylor's homecoming followed by the JVs at 6:00pm.
