The Lady Eagles competed in the UIL 4A State Championships on Friday, November 1. The Lady Eagles finished their season with a podium finish. The team raced against a very talented field of runners and proved they were one of the best in the state. The Lady Eagles finished in third place with 95pts. behind Canyon Randall 74pts and Canyon 30pts.
The Lady Eagles top 5 runners finished with a spread of :59 and averaged 12:04 as a team. The team was lead by the fantastic freshman duo of McCall Boyd who was an individual medalist placing 7th (11:30) and Annalee Bryant who placed 12th (11:47). Both girls ran a personal best for the season. The rest of the flock finished close behind with senior Zoie Adcox 34th (12:15), junior Cade Harris 44th (12:22), senior Anna Redelsheimer 57th (12:29.2), senior Penelope Anderson 58th (12:29.4) and sophomore Sydney Engleking 69th (12:42).
